Regardless of our ability to agree about the true shape of our earth, that being stationary and flat or a spinning ball, there is ONLY 1 true gospel message.
We can also likely agree that there is much confusion in the world, and ultimate and unadulterated truth is rare to find. However, wherever the truth is it shines brighter still as the world becomes even darker.
In John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Regardless of your current stance about the topic of the shape of the earth, there is still ONLY 1 gospel message. There is ONLY 1 message that should be delivered that has the power to truly save a man/woman from eternal damnation.
Many are still upset that a loving God would permit someone to go to hell, much less allow someone to choose to go there on their own will. Though, that same person fails to recognize their own rebellion against God, their sin, and fails to recognize that God did not have to give us a way to be remedied and reconciled with him. But he did, and for that anyone should be joyful and grateful.
Though, I must warn you that there are many false gospel messages going around causing people, who have good intentions of being righteous before God, to stumble and it truly breaks my heart.
Though, should we be surprised that false prophets and false gospels be in our midst? Absolutely not. We have been adequately warned about false prophets and false gospels:
In 1 John 4:1 the Apostle John said, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
In Matthew 7:15 Jesus said, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”
In 2 Peter 2:1 the Apostle Peter said, “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.”
In 2 Timothy 4:3 the Apostle Paul said, ”For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;”
If someone will NOT receive the Apostle Paul’s message, in its proper context, then that same man has rejected Jesus Christ as fully God being also the atonement for his sin. The man who calls himself a Christian and rejects the 1 true gospel message is a liar and a deceiver who, above all others, has deceived himself first and foremost.
For the Apostle Paul said the following in 1 Corinthians 14:37, “If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.”
Can the Apostle Paul really say that he gives the commandments of the Lord?
We are told in Acts 1:2 that “Until the day in which he [Jesus] was taken up, after that he [Jesus] through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles [which includes the Apostle Paul] whom he had chosen:”
Unfortunately, many are twisting 1 John 5:2-3 to mean that, in order, to love God we must keep His Torah, Old Covenant commandments. Though, in light of Acts 1:2 and 1 Corinthians 14:37, this couldn’t be any further from the truth. As the commandments we are to keep, are clearly communicated through the writings of the Apostles.
So yes, it is a true statement that the Apostle Paul is able to say he is giving us commandments directly from the Lord Jesus Christ, who is fully God.
Many are going around saying that if you don’t keep the Old Testament laws, which are commonly referred to as Torah, then you are NOT following the same God of the Bible as Jesus followed. That is a blatant lie. Jesus made it clear that if you receive the testimony of those he sends, which does not exclude the writings from those same people, then you receive Him too.
In John 13:20 Jesus said, “He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.”
Unfortunately, many now believe that the commandments of the Lord are ONLY recorded in the Old Testament. This faulty and distorted premise causes all sorts of unnecessary confusion, including, a rejection of Jesus Christ as being fully God.
For those of us who truly believe on Jesus Christ as recorded throughout the Bible, including the New Testament, we have been given a new set of commandments, and these too are recorded throughout the New Testament and commonly referred to as the New Covenant. Those who are confused by that statement, though it’s not confusing at all, will quickly jump to a faulty conclusion that I am also saying that the Old Testament has been abolished. I didn’t say that, nor do I believe that.
The Old Covenant still exists for anyone to put themselves under it, though you can’t also be under the New Covenant at the same time. If you choose the Old Covenant, the you are required to fulfill it completely…and if you don’t you are damned to hell. Or you can choose the New Covenant, and accept the finished work of Jesus Christ by Him fulfilling the Old Covenant on our behalf.
The Old Testament even testifies to the New Covenant. In Jeremiah 31:31 it says, “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:”
This Old Testament message is brought foward in the New Testament as recorded in Hebrew 8:8: “For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:”
Hebrew 8:13 says, “In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.”
Hebrew 12:24 says, “And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”
Now, that we’ve established that a New Covenant does, in fact, exist, what is the ONLY 1 simple gospel message, and, believe me when I say it is extremely simple. Even the Apostle Paul said the gospel is simple.
In 2 Corinthians 11:3-4 the Apostle Paul says, “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.”
The last part of 2 Corinthians 11:4 says, “…ye might well bear with him.” What does that mean?
When looking at the Greek, it means to “hold oneself up against”. Meaning, we are to stand up false gospels, and not allow them to go unchallenged.
So, what is this simple gospel message that the Apostle Paul is referring to?
In 1 Corinthians 15:1-11 the Apostle Paul says, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.”
In Romans 10:13-17 the Apostle Paul says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
In Galatians 1:6-9 the Apostle Paul warns us of those who preach another gospel than he has given when he said, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”
Also, be careful of Torah or Hebrew Roots folks, for they will subtly attempt to bring you back under the law by presenting foolish question, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law.
In fact, the only mention of the word heretic is found within Titus 3:9-11 and it says:
“But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.”
There are also some who believe Flat Earth is the everlasting gospel as spoken of in Revelation 14:6, and this another false gospel.
While I agree that believing all of God’s Word as being faithful and true, Flat Earth will NOT save us. What saves us is the blood of Jesus Christ, plus nothing else.
If you are someone who believes on Jesus Christ, whether you reject or accept Biblical Cosmology, I believe that when the New World Order deception is fully manifested the Holy Spirit will guide you and lead you in truth.
John 16:13 says, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
However, it will be your decision to follow the Holy Spirit, or fall away from the faith.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 says, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;”
In Matthew 10:22 Jesus says, “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”
There is ONLY 1 simple gospel message, and it is to repent of your sin, which is clearly defined throughout the New Testament for anyone to plainly see, and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.
Praise Jesus Christ, he is fully God and is risen and is returning soon to reclaim the earth and establish his Kingdom forevermore!
